If you have been thinking about buying a new vehicle this year, then we’ve got some great news for you. Honda has a stellar lineup that will not disappoint. So, if you have been searching for a new Honda for sale, head over to your local Honda dealership to snatch up one of these models before they’re gone! Let’s explore the 2020 Honda lineup now.
New Honda Cars
Coming back as a fan-favorite, the 2020 Honda Civic is a fuel-efficient sedan that offers the perfect fusion of athleticism and comfort. With so many amazing standard features, it’s no wonder why this popular vehicle is in its 10th generation. Available in six trims and three powertrains, you can find the perfect model to suit your driving style. Standard equipment includes automatic climate control, a 4-speaker sound system, and an infotainment interface that is displayed on a 5-inch touchscreen. Every new Civic also comes with the Honda Sensing safety suite, which includes features like lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, and forward-collision warning.
Another new Honda for sale at your local dealer is the 2020 Honda Accord. This larger sedan is available in five trim levels and two powertrains. Even the base model is well-equipped with LED headlights, a 4-speaker stereo system, a 7-inch touchscreen display for the infotainment interface, dual-zone climate control, and the aforementioned Honda Sensing package. If you want something more luxurious, the top-tier Touring model comes with heated/cooled seats, a navigation system, a wireless charging pad, parking sensors, a head-up display, and an integrated Wifi hotspot. The new 2020 Accord is also available as a hybrid vehicle.
If you are looking for something even more fuel-efficient, there are two more eco-friendly models that you can take out for a spin. The first is the Insight. Offered in three trim levels and a single hybrid powertrain that gets 52 MPG combined (55 city/49 highway), this innovative model comes with some cool features. On the base level, you get push-button ignition, a rearview camera, and the aforementioned standard features from both the Civic and Accord. On the top-tier Touring trim, you can expect to find leather upholstery, a 10-speaker sound system, and many other luxury features.
The other eco-friendly option is the Clarity Plug-In Hybrid. This nifty vehicle gets about 42 MPG combined, and it can continue traveling for up to 48 miles using only stored energy. That means you won’t have to worry about running out of power during rush hour traffic. Only available in two trims (the Base and Touring), you get amazing standard features with the Clarity Plug-In Hybrid. These include rain-sensing wipers, heated seats, an 8-inch touchscreen interface, compatibility with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and, of course, the Honda Sensing package.
New Honda SUVs and Crossovers
The new 2020 Honda HR-V is a versatile, subcompact crossover that is available in five trim levels and a single powertrain. The base level is missing the coveted Honda Sensing safety suite, which is why we recommend getting at least the third-level EX model. Not only does it come with the Honda Sensing package, but it also has heated seats, a moonroof, and compatibility with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.
There is also the new Honda CR-V, this compact crossover is available with either a gasoline engine or a hybrid powertrain. You can also choose from four trims, and the Honda Sensing package comes on the base model. However, we do recommend the second-level EX model due to the heated seats, sunroof, upgraded infotainment system with smartphone integration, push-button start technology, and blindspot monitoring.
If you need something a bit bigger, the 2020 Honda Passport is a great option. This mid-size model comes in four trim levels and a single powertrain. The base Sport model comes with some great features including the Honda Sensing suite, tri-zone climate control, a 7-speaker sound system, keyless entry, and LED headlights. If you take a step up to the EX-L, you will get even better features, including heated/leather seats, a larger touchscreen interface, compatibility with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, blindspot monitoring, a power liftgate, and even a sunroof.
Larger families may appreciate the new 2020 Honda Pilot a bit more. This three-row mid-size crossover can seat seven people and is offered in six trims and one powertrain. The standard equipment from the Passport carries over to the Pilot. However, the EX-L for the Pilot also gets an auto-dimming rearview mirror and available features such as a back seat entertainment system for the kids and a navigation system for you!
New Honda Minivans
There is only one minivan in the new 2020 lineup for Honda. It’s the popular Odyssey. This land whale has been around for over 25 years, and it shows no signs of letting up anytime soon. Offered in five trim levels and a single V6 powertrain, this van is perfect for large families. The base LX model does not come with the Honda Sensing package. So, we recommend looking at the EX trim or higher. Equipped with tri-zone climate control, power-sliding back doors, sliding second-row seats, heated front seats, and a removable center console, it’s hard to find something you don’t love about the EX trim. It comes with the Honda Sensing safety suite as well as blindspot monitoring, an 8-inch touchscreen, and compatibility with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. If you jump up to the top-tier Elite trim, you will also get a hands-free liftgate, a Wifi hotspot, a heated steering wheel, front/back parking sensors, and a wireless charging pad. Also included in the Elite model is CabinWatch. This is an interior monitoring system that uses a camera to give you a clear view of your kids in the back. You don’t have to turn around to see what they are doing, so you can parent safely.
New Honda Trucks
There is also only one truck in the new Honda lineup this year. The Ridgeline is a mid-size pickup truck that feels more like a car. Available in four trim levels and a single powertrain, each Ridgeline model is well-equipped. The base Sport trim comes with the Honda Sensing package, tri-zone climate control, and compatibility with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The second trim is the RTL. This one features leather-trimmed seats, a power-sliding rear window, and a sunroof. Next, the RTL-E adds an upgraded sound system, blindspot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a power outlet in the truck bed, and a navigation system. Finally, the top-tier Black Edition is similar to the RLT-E, but it has black wheels, black exterior trim details, and red accents on the leather seats.
